basically what the topic says...I was driving today and the SES light came on in the morning...and I was like ohh its my EGR acting up again like it has been...I got to work shut it off, then I turned it on and started it up..it went away..so I thought it was EGR...
going home from work the light came on again..for the whole time till 10min. I got off the highway onto the onramp...waited in line to make the turn..then it went away..but as I accelerated it went on again..stopped at a traffic light went off..then again when I accelerated it went back on...
checked my oil when I got home in in the dipstick and the cap..also the overflow bottle for the antifreeze..everything looks okay...
I have been having some rough running problems..if I searched I could post the topic but want to get this out ASAP..to see what you guys think...was wondering what it could be..does the EGR do that or is it something in my exhaust?? please help with any ideas...Im planning on a move and dont have the $$$ or time to have the car down...

go to autozone and have them pull the code for you.... did you really expect someone to randomly guess what the problem is? you can get a definative answer with a scanner.

Turbo...actually the AutoZone up here in Waltham stopped doing that for a while...they didnt have anyohe that knew what they were doing working there and I went in once and they said exactly that "for the time being that service we cannot do."
Ill call again to see but I know out of the thousands of people on here they might have had this problem and know where to start looking.. but thanks anyways!

okay Autozone only has the OBDII scanner..and my Autozone gave me a code key and booklet..that dosnt work on 94's..grrr...so any help??

Still sounds like EGR.

Sounds like the EGR to me also. Wouldn't hurt to check your AIR pump fuse as well.
