Smile Got some new track times!!

Alright guys I just got back from the track. Since the last time I went I have put in 3.73 gears and a hotcam. I do not have a tune for the cam yet so there is still some more left in her. Here is my best run of the night, and it is 1/8th mile.

60 ft.....1.865
330 ft.....5.357
ET @ 594 ft......7.749
1/8th mile ET.....8.287
1/8th mile MPH.....83.76

There u go. How do u guys think I did???

Re: Got some new track times!!

good but don't you have any REAL times? (ie: 1/4 mile) lol. i really can't judge by 1/8th mile unless i pull out my slips and look at mine.

Re: Got some new track times!!

Thats probably about a high 12 in the 1/4, you definitely need to tune that thing and get that 60' down.

Re: Got some new track times!!

Thanks for the input guys. From my calculations and by looking at other people 1/8th mile times and looking at there 1/4 it should be somewhere in the 12.8x's. Which I was very proud of concidering there is AT LEAST 2 tenths in the tuning which I dont have yet. Anyone else have some input?

Re: Got some new track times!!

That's about a high 12@107, like you said. Looks good to me.

Re: Got some new track times!!

I ran the times in sig., which would be right where you're at if I could cut .2 off of my 60'. I ran a 13.1@107, so I'd imagine with a 1.8x 60' you'd run ~12.8@107 or so. Man, i really wish I had a stalled automatic when I go to the track. FWIW, I ran an 8.50@89 MPH on a 100 or so shot(Jetted for 125, but bottle was at 60 degrees, or about 600 PSI). 1/4 mile was a 12.83@114. Launching easy will KILL your times regardless of HP.
