Ok Boys and Girls. Do you suffer from that incurable squeakie rear sounds when you go over speed bumps? It could be your rear shocks!!! yeah thats right.
I fixed mine months ago by accident. I decided it was time to replace my rear shocks. I bought me a cheap set from Napa Autoparts and while at it I took the time to grease the passenger side Pahhard bushing. (its a big fat female dog to put that bolt back on). Thats it. I did not put grease on the springs (forgot) nor lubricated any other bushings (got tired and wanted to put the car back on the ground).
When I look back I realise the Bushing did not have any signs of rubbin at all. More like it was just twisting in its location. It did look as if had not rubbed on anything at all. No friction marks whatsoever.
So I honestly think its the pax side Shock since the noise never came back and its been months. No other bushing has been lubricated before not after. So if you lubricated all your bushings and your car sounds like your bed on your anyversary night, then take note how my car squeaky rear end got fixed.
Just passing my fix info.
