GTP/Jensen Heads...(Pics)
So i got a set of these GTP ported LT-1 heads for REAL cheap. I gave them to a local engine builder Andy Jensen and he cleaned them up and did a valve job. Just thought id share pics. I plan on running the GM-847 cam and these heads. Should make a stout motor

there supposed to flow 265 int. / 210 exhuast. the numbers arent the best, becuase i think they were ported a few years back, and the porting technology has become better. but ill def. see a huge difference!

Schweet,
If Andy needs some help, I can let him in on a couple secrets that have not been done.
It looks like those heads are a set that were not done by Craig himself. There is good room for improvement.

Dennis, im not bashing Andy, and alot of my friends use him for engine builds. its just i think he was worried about his customers, that where getting engines built rather than little old me who wanted heads cleaned up. But you can give him all the pointers you want lol ...i will be in contact with you monday.
GMRL, i will look tomorrow about the plug threads. at this point it wouldnt surprise me if they were messed up....
im def. getting these heads ported and i want these heads to flow good numbers so i can take them off and put them on another motor of bigger displacement if need be...now i talked to lloyd, and i think im going to go with him, or see what dennis has to offer....

So you're saying this Jensen cat didn't do anything other than do a valve job and blast them?
When guys say "cleaned up" they usually mean there was some additional porting done.

Well im bringing this back alive. Ive finally gotten the heads back from Lloyd Elliot, and its pretty much the LE2 heads. Ive kept the valve job Jensen had given to the heads, but non the less they look alot better, and i cant wait to put them on. I will hands down send all of my heads back to Lloyd from now on. He answered every question i threw at him, and was more than willing to stay on the phone with me, not trying to cut me short. The customer service is outstanding, and the packaging for the shipment back was excellent. But i will def. recommend him to anyone!
The portwork is night and day. He said the stock runners are 170cc, and they were "ported" the first time around 175cc, and he said he got them out to around 202cc's. I cant say enough good stuff about him. But anyways here are some pics of the port work.

Yea, he told me that when you taking out that much material that you cant help but to get into stud thrads. He told me to use Liquid PST and that would seal them right up. What do you think about that?
