Guess on gains . . . ?

Alright i know that no one knows but I'm just curious what kind of gains you guys think I'd have going from the stock manifolds and stock exhaust to LTs no cats and a gmmg cat-back? (I'll also be putting new plugs/wires on as well)
o2 sims as well
I was thinking 30rwhp ish maybe
Also would there be any gains from porting the intake without cam/head work?
Thanks for any opinions/advice guys

The gains from LTs/exhaust will depend on the tuning.

There's lots of material to remove in the stock manifold to improve flow.
You can also enlarge the TB bores to accept a 58mm or monoblade.
I don't think you'll see much from that with a stock-ish setup though.
Even if you did, you can't really enlarge the runners without porting the heads.
(Well you can, but it would be a silly thing to do; you don't want a ridge in there)
LTs and a catback you WILL notice. I don't think 25rwhp is unrealistic over a stock exhaust.
1-3/4" or larger primaries, bolted in properly and checked periodically (more often at first)
should work out very well for you. The catback is pretty much maintenance-free once it's installed.
Keep in mind that the combination of those two exhaust mods will have a HUGE impact on
the volume of your your exhaust tone. Even with a stock motor, people will hear you
coming a mile away LOL

Thats kinda what I'm looking forward too
I know I want a gmmg. now I just gotta figure out what LTs ? ?
I would love to buy a set of kooks but man $$$$
I'm already planning on taking a couple days off and putting on:
a new water pump (toasted)
a new opti (70k on the clock and taking waterpump off anyway)
new plugs/wires
a gmmg cat-back
a set of LTs (kooks maybe . . . someone talk me out of it)
UMI tubular three point SFCs (already have em just haven't put em on)
^^^and that would be one exspensive weekend folks^^^

I don't think you can get o2 simm anymore so look for a tuner. I haved used pcmforless bofore he was quick and did good.
I hear the kooks are not the greatest. I think the hookers are fine. Have heard a few complain about the kooks one of the pipes and the plugs....

There are still a couple of vendors who are selling them, they are not supporting vendors so if anyone is interested, PM me. But yeah, those have been cracked down on big time.

Have you considered an electric water pump? Pick up 7-10rwhp
a set of LTs (kooks maybe . . . someone talk me out of it)[/QUOTE]
Kooks are very nice, in retrospect, I wish I had spent the money on them.
I'll end up installing a set sooner or later to compliment my new motor.
The Jet Hot Hookers are nice, I have no complaints other than the
fact that the collectors ended up with a lot of surface rust after 2 years.
Pacesetters are a good bang for the buck. I had them on a previous car.
