Ok, my problem originated about 3 weeks ago when after going to start it i noticed it got hard to start it took 3 or 4 good revolutions to start the car. Now it's progressivly gotten worse. I chaged the plugs and wires with the opti being less then 5k miles old. it didnt do anything it stopped my stutter i had since i had owned the car. but more recently the stutter has comeback very unnoticiable and not very often. but if i dont prime the system atleast 3 good key turns, it takes a good 20 rotations to start the car. i'm positive its a fuel related issue. but where at im unsure how to begin checking, i havent put a fuel pressure guage on there yet. low cash. but if u guys would give me a good starting point and possibly if any of you have ever expierenced this maybe some feedback. i appriciate it guys. thanks.

edit- also the car has 121k miles on it. oil is about 1500 miles old too.

 

Without funds, your screwed. I suggest a new fuel filter. Then have the injectors cleaned either on or off the rails but on the rails is less expensive. Using a good cleaner like the one from 3M.

If you want to do something on the cheap, pull up the fuel rails and look at the spray pattern at the bottom of the injectors as someone cranks the engine over.

Need to also check the fuel pressure as you mentioned. In particular after the engine has been shut down. It sounds as though your check ball in the tank is defective and allowing fuel to run back toward the tank.

 

ok, so is that in the fuel pump itself. or where at is that?
