The LT4 KM is simply filtering out sounds that are NOT true knock.... primarily intended to eliminate the noise signature of the Crane Gold 1.6X full roller rockers that were used in the LT4 engine. Its not filtering out the sound of true knock. I ran the LT4 KM in my 94 for several years, when it was still a "bolt on" setup, spraying a 125-shot through the NOS 5176 dry kit.... and never had a problem.

When you say you have a "programmer".... what one? If its the Hypertech, are you running the "power program", or just using it to tweak things like RPM limit, gear ratio, etc.? There's really no point in running the "power program", since its been dyno proven to lose HP on anything but the basic, stock engine, and even then its not worth anything.

You really need to add a "signature", with basic info about your car - year, model, engine, trans and major mods.
