Head Bolt Question

I put one of my heads on already and need to put a new set of head bolts in it. Long story short, a couple of bolts stretched while I was torquing them so I am putting new ones in it. My question is, will the head gasket be ok to use after I release the torque on the head? Or should I take one bolt out at a time and replace it in sequence?

Re: Head Bolt Question

I think replacing one bolt at a time makes more sense. I don't think the gasket will be impacted, so long as you haven't had the engine running.
