head swap part list

This spring i'm going to be doing a head swap (ported lt1's)
What is everything I'm going to need to complete this?

The heads of course, head gaskets(GM, felpro, the Impy's, its your coice), 4 crush washers(pn GM-10108689) for the coolant crossover tube, thread sealer, lots of rags, some coolant, and a razor to scrape the old gasket off. I changed out my head bolts when I had my heads off so that might not be a bad idea either but its not necasary.

Here's what I'm doing:

-Head bolts
-Head gaskets
-rockers
-pushrods
-studs
-guideplates
-Banjo bolts, washers
-Intake gaskets
-Valvecover gaskets
-thread sealer

There maybe more...

whats the banjo bolt and are the crush washers neccesary?

They need to be replaced for the coolant cross-over pipe.

If they look anything like mine, youll want to replace them. They are only like $4 for a set of 4 from CM.
