Re: Headers....which way is easier?

10 hours to drop a motor and put it back in???? a/c discgarded /recharged??? i work at a dealership dude, it never takes that long to drop a motor and put it back in. damn a motor job only pays 15 hours and the removing swaping parts and then putting back in and hooking it up and turn key. and that on average at my dealer is 10 hours.. if it took 10 hours to drop a motor put headers on then put it back in then your working slow... and the ac discharge/ recharge i hve never seen an ac machine next to a car during a motor job. and i have never used a ac machine during a motor job

Re: Headers....which way is easier?

It took me all of 30 min. to slide the new mac's in and bolt them up. Save yourself the headache and wasted time of dropping the motor. Once you get all of the old stuff off it is a cake walk from there. If I hadn't broke an exhuast bolt and had to remove the head to get it out the whole job from start to finish would have taken maybe 3 hrs. Mac's go in very easily.
