Headlight Help!

I have a 1997 TA Ram Air. It recently started when I cut the head lights off the go down, but it sounds like the motor that turns them down just keeps running like 5 seconds after there are down. It is a loud roaring noise. It does it when I hit then lock button on my keychain also. Any help?

You need to do the "fix". Use the search feature to search for "headlight noise", "headlight fix", etc. Or you can search for Brent Franker's website and look for the step by step guide.

I will say in my case the fix did not work, so I did the other fix mentioned there...I pulled the motor apart and rotated the gear 90* in the housing...never had a problem again (you can tell which direction to rotate it if you watch which way it spins when its on the car, then make sure it won't contact the destroyed teeth when you rotate it)

This was surprisingly easy.
