As far as price, my 3 angle valve job was about $200, but I reused the stock valves. New springs, locks, retainers, and seals were about $90 (these are my light weight stocker heads, so I didn't spend much money on them, now my other set of heads are a different story, they are starting to look killer). So you should probably figure on spending about $300-400 total for a good valve job depending on if you get new valves or not. If you want a port job, they usually run about $600 for an econo port, and over $1k for a full race port. When they port and polish, they generally open up the ports, blend the passages for smoother flow, and do a bit of reshaping work on the chamber.
