heater delete questions

I am deleting the heater on my 94 LT1. I already removed the heater box and blocked off the hole in the firewall. I was Just going to plug the 2 holes in the water pump. Was going to tap and plug them with pipe plugs.

As far as the bleed screw on the heater hose, can I delete that aswell? Or will there be air trapped in the system?

You can tap and plug the holes on the water pump OR loop them. Obviously tapping/plugging would look much nicer. You can deal without the single air bleed valve as long as you retain the one on the thermostat housing.

great, thanks! that's all I needed to know as far as having one bleed screw. I'll be tapping and plugging them today.

Re: heater delete questions

you would get a better weight savings by laying off the beer and pizzas : )
