Heater hose - Help!

my 96 z28 was just recently recovered from random multiple misfires, and I had her running for a day before she decided to pop a hole in her heater hose. D: Growing pains... I know, however, the help I need is in a multitude of questions. I would like to know if the part can be removed or if I have to replace the whole assembly... the rest of the hose appears to be in relatively great condition, so, I would like to avoid removing the entire assembly... if at all possible. Regardless, if the part of the hose is removeable I have no idea how to do so. keep in mind this hose part attatches directly to the waterpump, and in the photo I have pulled it up above the engine for a picture. I've identified the part as #12

Re: Heater hose - Help!

nevermind, fixed it. sliced the old flow control valve out and bought a new one for 10 bucks this time used screw clamps to make easy hose replacement.

Re: Heater hose - Help!

Thought this would help with the part number. The ACDelco P/N is 15-5511 had to replace mine before. I have a huge list of GM to Other P/N list I replaced almost everything in my car. I have been researching this for what seems like forever. I will asked a mod to see if I can post the list. Its pretty huge. I am currently away from my home comp where its at but I think it will help everyone out. I even have a list of bulbs you can use for brighter lighting dash and other places.
