My heater in my 1995 z28 does not get hot just warm. The coolant gets up to temp . Is the heater core need to be flushed and if so is it easy to do? Is there any how to sites. Thanks for any info.

Once I get my car back I'm gonigto flush mine too....it never gets hot. Try the search function...that's how I found this answer: the hose on the heater core that is closest to the passenger side is the outlet. the other is inlet. remove hoses from heater core and hook up a garden hose to outlet side and turn water on slowly at first. this will back flush the heater core. you can still use the 160 stat. it will just take a little longer to warm up.
