.......... alarm is armed or unarmed, car is started or shut off, drivers headlight side door motor makes a BRRRR noise, then the doors shut. Also ABS & traction control are deactivated. I've replaced the ABS relay in the FUSE/RELAY box under the hood, didn't work. Then sometimes everything is OK. I've checked all connections & fuses & reseated relays. What do you think ??

Some previous posts have suggested that after market alarms can cause problems.Try disconnecting the alarm and see if the problem is still there.My02

 

All of your headlight issues are caused by the stripped gear (motor making BRRR noise ). When the gear strips, it "freaks out" the headlight control module. When the module freaks out, the headlights start doing all sorts of weird things like going up/down when the alarm is armed/disarmed. Fix the stripped gear problem and you'll also fix this problem.

Try the free fix here which rotates the gear 180 degrees so the other side of the gear, which is not stripped, is used.
