You posted in the “LS1 Based Engine Tech” forum. That covers 1998-2002 engines. Unless your 96 has had an engine transplant, it has an LT1 V8. Let me know which engine and I‘ll move your post to the correct forum as required.

Do you have spark when the engine is cranking?

Hard to understand but I'll give it a shot. It sounds like you probably need to bypass the throttle body which should stop the leak.

Re: Help 96 camaro z28

Your profile indicates you are from Spain. Appears we have a bit of a language barrier. Could you post a picture of the throttle body, showing where it is leaking?

You didn't respond to my previous request in 2021.... but appears you have an LT1, not an LS1 and this is posted in the wrong forum. Generally, if you ask for help, it's a good idea to respond when someone tries to help you, not 2-1/2 years later.

Moving to "LT1 Based Engine Tech".

Shoebox throttle body bypass instructions.

I see you don’t realize your post on the “LS1 Based Engine Tech” has been moved to the correct LT1 forum. Please make all future posts in this thread.

Your most recent post on the LS1 forum, in a topic that has nothing to do with your coolant leak:

Re: Help 96 camaro z28

If you want to hook your throttle body up in accord with the original factory hoses, here is a diagram:

Hose #4 connects to the throttle body bottom coolant plate on the passenger side pipe. Hose #5 connects to the bottom plate pipe on the driver side of the car.

There are also IAC housings that do not have a coolant passage. trick little pieces. Also, can you type this again in Spanish? We want to make sure we understand your question correctly.
