HELP, Car wont Start, Backfires, Smoke out the Intake
Well I am about to my end with this motor swap. My car now will not start. I still get spark, fuel(plenty of it). Heres a recap of my situation high MAP sensor readings 80-90KPa, IAC counts never fall below 130, drivers side rich as it can be. Car wouldnt idle, missed, backfired, and after cranking it white smoke comes out of the intake. Checked for external vacuum leaks and found nothing.
Does this sound like a blown intake gasket? Im talking inside the motor between the head and the intake.
I have replaced the MAP, ICM, IAC, coil, plugs and wires, Opti less than a year old(but car has yet to be driven) with no difference at all. These are all new GM parts as well. Also tried a different computer- nothing. Also my problems only seem to be on the drivers side bank. I have adjusted the rockers 3 times now and no difference.
Could this be a valve not seating properly?
Could the opti go bad and still have spark, but not a good spark?
Could the timing chain have been installed wrong? Idont know I just need help.
