I crimped my hose initially but went back and took off the whole hose at the manifold (2 bolts) cut the hose out of the bracket that bolts to the manifold and cut a new gasket for it without the hole and sealed it up with high temp RTV.
I just did not want any leaks and the crimp was bothering me, looks so unprofessional, I know no one can see it but I know its there.
You can send me the pic but I took off everything, EGR valve, metal hose crap, and the vacuum crap, I put a vacuum plug over the manifold nipple.
Started it up (O2s were not hooked up yet) and no SES code.
I took out the AIR pump as well.
