Arrow Help with Header choice for 396

Hi guys, sorry to sound redundant, but i just recently found that pace setter makes a nice set of LT's w/emissions. And now im basically stuck between getting the Jet-Hot's, or the pacesetters. I know w/out a doubt the jet hot's are really nice quality. I dont know much about the Pacesetters, but they're 289.99 and the Jet hots are 550.00. I was just wondering what eveyone thinks about my decision, i dont want to cut corners or be cheap, but am just wondering if the price difference means difference in quality.

What would you guys choose?

jet hot (550.00) or Pacesetter (289.99)

By the way these are for my 396, w/ gm 847 cam and loudmouth exhaust.

Thanks,

nick

I would just get the Jet-Hots (hmmm... I actually have them ) since they're a well tested product... plus, I don't think ceramic coating is included in that $289.99 and coating (for our cars) is a must in my opinion.

thats what i'm leaning towards. Where is the best place to buy the jet hots, and how much. Also what did you guys do about a y-pipe? custom or aftermarket?

Thanks,

Nick

oh and haa by the way Ion, my h/c motor blew up last november. It ran lean, and detonated, broke the valvespring, bent pushrod, dropped the valve into my #8 piston, put a hole in that, and the valve seats traveled the water jackets and screw up the #3 and #5 pistons also.
