Help, Heater core

I just got a 93z and want to learn about it and do all the work myself. Right now the heat isnt working. I know (I think) I have to flush it and it should work. Honestly I dont know what flushing even is. Can someone give me an idea of what im doing and how to do it? Thanks as always.

Well there will be 2 hoses, 1 metal and 1 rubber going into the firewall. The 2 hose are almost completly above the right manifold... There will be 1 clamp on each hose, take the off and pull your hoses off.... Now get like a garden hose or some other hose to fit over those pipes that come out of the firewall, mae sure there long enough... Now get a high pressure hose or your regular outside hose and flush it. Do 1 side for a few minutes, then do the other side until i runs clear of anti freeze... the you should be all set
