Help, I just started my rebuilt motor up and.....

Alright I just rebuilt my engine with all forged internals, 306 cam with an LE1 and I just now got past reving the car for 20 minutes to get oil throughout the entire engine. First I have some bbk shorty headers that do not extend past the back seat of my car, so in other words there is no muffler and I can see white smoke coming out of it. Also not sure if this is from the 306 cam but my valve train is loud, it seems if I can hear the valves literally opening and closing. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Re adjust your valve's and don't worry about smoke for 500 miles or so.
