Help..Ignition Problem..
Help, for the last 2 weeks I've had a problem get steadily worse. I've had a stumbling, stuttering/rodeo riding time getting too and from work.
I have only been troubleshooting this for 3 days. I have scanmaster and I am only getting 1 code. DTC 15. I checked all my wires and had two burned pretty bad. I replaced the 2 plugs and wires and the problem went away. Plugs were sooty black.
The next morning it was back with a vengence so I tried removing the Accel 300+ Ignition box and the problem went away until today and now the car won't even run, and barely starts.
One thing that I noticed was yesterday after It changed the plugs, I noticed water seeping heavily from the cat converter/cat-back flange. It only happened yesterday and was enough water to fill a small glass cup.
I have checked the coil and that didn't make a difference. I don't want to think its the opti.. wouldn't that throw a code.
I plan on changing all the plugs this weekend. Both O2 sensors are less then 4000 miles old and are bosch. Also the ICM is new as well as the alternator.
Would the ECT sensor cause the car to run so poorly?
Any help would greatly be appricated.
Thanks,
Kevin
