Go with the Xe224/230. Sounds great and has a flat torque curve. Very little cam surge.Very streetable.

I really liked my CC305. It made a hell of a difference in my car. I know with better traction it would have easily went in the mid 12's. I had many problems with the drivetrain holding what the car was making. My clutch keep letting go, and if it held the tires would go. So think about a better clutch if are gonna go with the CC305. Mine was tuned and my programmer has the CC305 M6 combination down pat.

So in my words..... CC305. See sig for times (notice the nice MPH's)

My cousin (who has a 97 WS6) hopped in my car right after that and went 13.01@112.8. I was pissed and happy at the same time.
Now if your looking to run it on the street from a roll.... MPH is everything.
If your looking for e/t.... I was a tire change away from a nice e/t.

112.8! Yeah that's why I am stoked about those MPHs. Everyone talks about ETs which is cool and all, but the tell tale of how much power a car is really making is the MPHs, just like on the street, no one gets traction anyway, it's all about that MPH

I have no problems with the Hotcam. The springs that come with the hotcam are fine, no problems shifting at about 6400 rpm's. Not sure why people say that. Has somebody had a hotcam spring failure? I get no cam surge, thanks to Bryan at PCMforless! He's got a great hotcam file. Idle is set at 675, damn thing sounds good at idle. Getting ready to order the AFR LT4 heads. Should finish up the motor nicely.

well i got to the track a little over a week ago and ran a new best. i ran the time in the sig. the previous best was 8.29. i'm running the cc305, long tubes, duals, 2400 stall, 3.73s, 1.6rr, and the heads are very close to stock with a valve job. they have had no bowl work done. only the ports have been cleaned up a bit. that pass should have been a 12.50 or so pass in the quarter. maybe even a little quicker. this was on 26x10.5 e.t. streets.
