Help me decide, please!

Hi, I just put SLP dual cats headers on my car. I have a few problems. First, now I have an exhaust leak (even if the shops tell me I don't) that I can hear when the car is under load coming from (I think) the driver side flange.
Secondly, now my Y pipe is so close to the K member that it actually touches it. This makes for some vibrations that are driving me insane. No noise but some vibrations that you can feel in the pedals.
All the shops that I have been to told me that they can't do anything for the y pipe touching the k member. So I was thinking of having them do me an offroad y pipe (no emission I am in Florida). They told me they would do it for around $140.

Should I try to seal my leaks with some better flange gaskets (if you know of any?) and try to live with those vibrations or should I go with the offroad y pipe?

Thank you for your help (sorry for the length)
Jacques.

Get some copper gaskets from Mr. Gasket they work great, I know. As for getting a off road pipe for $140 bucks, hell the pipe and flanges don't cost that much but if you don't know anyone that has a welder and stuff you got to do what you got to do. I would just say make sure you can take the off-road pipe off and on with a cat, be smog laws may come sooner or later.

where can I get those copper gaskets? I looked everywhere and I only found flange gasket for the normal sized one (passenger side). On the dual cat set up the driver side has a weird shape and I can't find a copper gasket for that one.

Run a smoke test to check where the leak is...

Use either SeaFoam or Automatic Trans Fluid(ATF). Disconnect the brake booster hose, start the car, and slowly pour the SeaFoam or ATF into the intake manifold (warmed up engine) via the hose.

It may sound rough when you start with the disconnected hose (major vacuum leak) but it works before you start ripping everything apart.
