thats what I did, with the longtubes already in. the car only had 50k on it at the time, and the mounts were good. Well, after 6 months not so much, so I had to swap them out. It would have been much easier on the passenger side had the header not been there. The drivers side didnt matter, I just popped off the steering linkage. All together, about 8 hours of *** pain. That includes time grinding and drilling those damn rivets out too though.

Yeah. Thats how I did it. Had I known what I know now I would have planned on doing the mounts from the get go. The mounts would be really really easy with no headers in the car. Just an FYI, if you do headers, do the mounts while you are there.

I did my motor mounts with everything in there. It's not necessarily the easiest way of doing it but it works out just fine. Just have a way of lifting and lowering the engine easily to make putting the bolt in easy. If you can move the engine around the bolt will slide in like butter if you clean out the through hole.
