HELP QUICK!!! Electrical Problem!

Greetings,
My driver's side power window got stuck today in the down position so I took the panel off, etc. I determined that the power window switch was the problem. So, I was going to change the wires from the passenger side that works to the driver side pw to get the window up and something went wrong. Now neither side works, nor does the power locks or radio (but the lights still work on the radio). Does anybody have any ideas? Is there any other inline fuses, etc. that could have blown???
Please help!!!

exactly what do you mean by
changing the PS wires that work to the DS?

you pulled wires? or you swapped switches?

There were 6 wires in the housing that connected to the switch (1 power, 1 ground, and 2 for each ps and ds). I just switched the two wires for the ds to the switch for the ps that still worked fine.

that doesnt sound too good.

If you wanna get the DS window to roll up, you shoulda just disconnected the DS switch, found the 2 wires that lead to the DS motor from the harness and throw positive on 1 side and negative to the other side. they work forward and backward (up and down) so if 1 way dont work just flip polarity and bam! that is if the actual switch is at fault.

sounds like you blew a fuse when u plugged the PS switch the wrong way. check all the fuses in your fuse block left of your dash.

That's what I should have done.

Checked all the fuses left of the dash and none are blown. Are there any other relays or fuses that could have blown?

if my memory is correct

the power window fuse and door locks could be those big chrome lookin fuses in the lower right of the fuse block. pull them out and see if they have continuity across the 2 terminals.

if they check out OK.........check the pink wire on the DS harness for power with a test light. but check the chrome fuses first. oh they are circuit breakers (fuse) all the same

Circuit breakers checked out fine.
As for the wiring on the ds, the brown wire is the hot wire going into the switch. It now has no power, which leads me to believe there must be some other relays in there somewhere.

thanks for the help!
