Help sealing primary #1 slip-fit

I have done a search and didn't turn up anything good. The slip-fit on the Hooker #1 primary is loose. I saw that Permatex has a high-temp metal repair that says on the package "good up to 2000 deg F, for exhaust manifolds/headers." I'm planning on using that and having the primary expanded. Has anyone had any problems taking the primary to an exhaust shop to have it expanded (ceramic cracking or anything) and how much does it usually run to have that done? Thanks.

I ended up just using a manual style pipe expander. You know the ones that look like they are made of orange slices with the nut you tighten on one end. I expanded it slightly and it sealed right up after that. Or I have heard of people actually having to weld it together.

I ordered a t-clamp from Summit and it got rid of my header leak.
