Hey All Newbie Here!

hey guys i just joined the site cause a friend of mine told me you guys are pretty good with help on cars and stuff. i got a 95 firebird formula LT1. and im having a problem with it starting. it puttered out and died the other week when i was at a light and wouldnt start up again. hauled it home(thank god for AAA) it has had a misfire for a while i just havent been able to get around to doing the fix. anywayse i replaced the coil and ICM and now im in the middle of doing spark plugs and wires...my friend and i did the opti bout 3 weeks ago and the car worked fine then....the car cranks but doesnt turn over....so i thought id turn to u guys for help...anything would be appreciated..

Have you checked the Ignition fuse?

I'm the friend he is talking about. We are going to check the fuel pressure this week to see if it's a fuel related issue. We've changed almost everything related to spark so I'm hoping we can narrow it down to somthing soon.

Anthony, check the Ignition fuse along with the fuel pump relay. Could be somthing as simple as that.

Spark or fuel, but seeing how you had a miss for awhile, i would bet fuse. Change those plugs and wires and Paul take some fuel pressure readings at the shrader and post them so we can rule that issue out. I assume you guys installed the opti right without any issue right?

Haha, Nick. How many times have I done an Opti? Yes, it was fine.

ill check the fuses and fuseable links and relays when i get home got class in 15 min so ill let you all know the outcome
