Angry Holy ****! This Has To Be By Far The Worst Thing Racenet Has Done In A While

WOW-what a bunch of xxxx morons over there
Honestly, how xxxx damn stupid can you ****ing get!

i just looked at my cam card-
never even bothered to look at it till today

racenet xxxx me-

i asked for the 236/242 CAM AND GOT THE 230/236 CAM

TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY, my heads are beign PORTED FOR 555/574 lift, not 544/555

well anyone want to buy a 230/236 cam

i realy shold have looked at the card, but i didnt think they would so xxxx STUPID AS TO ORDER THE WRONG CAM! I should have stopped payment and returned EVERYTHIN when they called me a liar and sent me used rocker studs. Thats my dumb mistake.

The cam didn't come out of the box for a good month, and at that point we were pressed for time so i didn't realy look at the card too closely. I just double checked LSA..... crap

Racenet used to be pretty good, but their quality of service has gone down the hill in recent years. They've messed up my order a few times now, not to mention they never seem to send me an invoice. I alwasy order from Speed Inc or Thunderracing from now on.

Dude, that sucks. Seems like your dealing with them has been a nightmare from the beginning. I would file a complaint with Better Business Bureau if I were you.

On a different note, my experiences with them have always been great. Same goes for my friends. (I recommended them the place)

i blame myself partially for this *** up, i should have looked at the cam card.

although, they probobly would have said the same thing they did with my rocker studs... "no, its impossible for them to be used"
only this time "no you asked for a 236/242"

GRRR... dumbasses, 1 rocker stud ws a 7/16. the rest were 3/8. and they had LOCKTITE in the threads!

is comp pre locktiting rockerstuds now?

edit:
as for the cam-
i'll keep you guys in mind. thanks for the offers, but a good friend is already all over it. I dont know when i'm getting it out so i dont want to hold you guys up

The only way to really tell is to check the cam itself by degreeing it. Besides, it would be silly to swap the cam out (IMO). You aren't going to get much more power with a few degrees @ .050. With all the crap IRS has been doing to people, its possible a cam card was 'tossed in' as the cam went out the door. Even if it was drop shipped its possible comp messed it up - much less likely ofcourse.

I would decide if I liked the cam - power its making, driveablility, then either-

A) Leave it be
B) Swap to a solid roller

Again, it doesnt' really make sense to me to spend another $250 on a similar HR cam.

Good luck.

Long ago I ordered some parts from them...

I was assured what I ordered was in stock.. until I called after half my order showed up and was told they hadn't had the stuff for quite awhile. Not a big deal, but the guy "checked" and "had it, yep."

Aside from that.. instead of 15" wheel diameter slicks they sent 16." On another occaision, a buddy ordered a set of gaskets... which someone actually folded in half to fit in a smaller box.

In the end, unless you're dealing with a specialist, it's always on you to check your stuff though. Be careful

TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY, my heads are beign PORTED FOR 555/574 lift, not 544/555
Would you feel better if I told you it didn't matter?
