The only thing that pisses me off about the magnaflow is that its is soooooo cheap now! I got it for $380 shipped a year ago and that was a steal at the time(GP pricing), now it can be had easily for $250 shipped!
Anyways.....there is a popping particurly when you shift from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3, and also on the way down from a high rpm rev. However the popping does seem to decrease with time, I don't seem to notice it much at all anymore. Overall I would highly reccomend the magnaflow system to you, I get compliments all the time on it!

I like the look and sound of the Magnaflow better. Mine popped at higher rpms with a stock program and offroad pipe. But now with a custom program and my own custom offroad pipe.

I would download the video but my damn computer is so slow. But if i can't ever get my car to run right, i'll never be able to get an exaust anyways. It pisses me off.

I had no cat on my exhaust when I had the magnaflow and it sounded dreadful. My dad, who likes ANY exhaust on ANY camaro, said that it got really raspy and odd sounding after a while. Now that I have the hooker installed I gotta say that the two sound similar at idle, but when you rev it the similarities end there. Just as deep and very very clean. Not one pop upon deceleration. The three inch mandrel bend was very nice as well. The tips that come with the hooker, however, suck. Mine began to get light surface rust on the inside of the tips after a few hours. Kinda like a cleveland rtg wedge does in a few days.

i have not heard a hooker before. my friend has a magnaflow on his stang and it sounds pretty good. however, this my not apply to camaro's. i just want to let you know that the magnaflow is of good quality and i would not have a problem putting it on my car. although, i am use to flowmaster and i guess i would upgrade to almost anything over this.
z28ontweenkies, he does love the titleist. he has two sets of their irons. i think he just got a set of 680's in. however, he uses the clevelands' 60 and 54 degree wedges.

I just installed the Magnaflow on my Formula...

Here's my post with sound clips linked...

Both before and after clips, the only thing to change was the cat-back!

LWilliams' clip is the most accurate magnaflow clip ive heard so far. Personally at idle and decel I think it sounds like glasspacks, if you guys dont then maybe its just me. I will say that it definitely sounds better with cat(s), once I took mine off, my car gave the term unrefined a new definition. If I can get a soundclip of the hooker I will post it.
