Looking at getting headers over the winter and trying to get ideas, Are these worth it? about how much whp gain with something like these give me, and about how much to have a shop to install them if anybody knows

Have you looked into running long tubes instead? The plug access with shorties is awful.

Long tubes without question. I'd never even consider anything less if I was removing my manifolds. Kooks makes great quality headers, and pacesetter is about the best you can get for the money. At least used to be, I've not looked into lt1 headers for years.

Word of advice if you think u might need a tune up at anypoint do it before you put the headders on because it is the biggest pain in the butt you will ever have until you get the hang of learning to bend your hand in really weird ways and going under the hood to underneath the car for about everyother plug... other than that they aren't bad... Just remember they stay hot for like ever. lol

LOL @ plugs. yea i know, found that one out the hard way when i first bought her. i see your from lima, i used to live in ottawa-glandorf.

Thats kewl i actually live in cridersville lol lil south of lima... couldn't pay me to live in lima again thats for sure!
