Hotcam for $50
I came across a brand new hot cam for $50, Would it be worth it to add this to my mods or should I wait and put a cc503 in it? He also has a brand new lt4 intake manifold for $300 are they worth the money?

He would also need all new springs and roller rockers.

The only things I am concerned about is that people say the springs that come with the hot cam wich I have installed right now, are not strong enough for the hot cam? That and the fact that I hear alot of horror story about spun bearing on higher mileage engines when a cam is swapped in?

Many people, including myself, have had bearing problems when installing cams on higher mileage engines. Most failures seem to be caused by running the RPM higher and having more power. There's no way to know for sure if your motor will hold up or not.
I agree about the pushrods as well.

What about the pushrods?
The hotcam kit springs will work fine with the hotcam. That's why they're sold as a kit.
