How do I take the caliper slide pins out????

I have LS1 brakes... I have a slight drag on the pass side and I'd like to regrease it. Is white lithium grease cool or do I need something else? How do I take them out? I posted in LS1 tech too, thanks.

I think silicone grease is what is recommended, but lithium might be ok.

I use plain old bearing grease without any problems.

I also think silicone is what GM specs. I use a tub of brake caliper grease made by CRC. I got it at pep boys and it's been working well for years.
