hey everyone sorry fornot getting back sooner. MAN! this thread seemed to blow up haha. i saw bubbas post and i hit refresh just a sec ago and now theres all these posts! haha. anyway i figured it out i just didnt have the 1 1/16" socket i needed to pull the cooler down. it was real easy when i had that. and just to let you guys know i did search, i always do before i ask questions i read 6 pages of threads on it but all i could find was that people said the cooler just twisted off. i had originally thought that i had needed to take that nut out but noone clarified so i wasnt 100% sure but just using my 2 cents i took it off and wala there she goes. i had to borrow the socket from a friend but all is well. i fixed my leaking heater hose and bypassed the cooler completely with the aux hose through gm and the 2 bolts that dont have teh studs on it so the filter will thread back up. so sorry to anyone about any arguments in this thread. but for future reference i always search before i post and i did read a lot just didnt find my specific answer and i think i did state that in my original post. thanks guys i really appreciate it.
