how do you know if your maf is working right??

Question how do you know if your maf is working right??

hey everybody i have an after market grantelli maf and i want to make shure its working right . . how do i go by finding out??will ses light be on??

Is your car not functioning right to make you believe it's not working? If everything checks out and your car is running fine, it should be ok. I'm not sure if it throws a code or not, I think it would.

my car is running great im not having any problems im just asking because my buddy is buying a used grantelli maf . . i was wondering too because i bought mine used

Put it on a dyno with wide band O2 readings. That should tell you what the car is doing with the MAF readings.
