How do you replace the heater hoses??

How do you replace the heater hoses??
One of my heater hoses is leaking, how in the world do you replace these things without pulling the engine? I was just going to cut the metal tube off and use a clamp to attach the new rubber hoses, but there is no way to clamp a hose on the end where one of the bleeders is located.
