How to find a vacuum leak?

I've never really messed with the vacuum system of our cars, and don't even know what to look for if I have a leak, which I think I do. Which hoses should I look at?

Also, is the EGR and AIR system part of the vacuum? My EGR pipe that runs to my header recently came undone, so I just got a little plug from home depot and plugged up the end of the EGR pipe. I've still got my AIR system. Would that cause any problems?

Re: How to find a vacuum leak?

spray parts cleaner around where you think the vac leak is coming from and your rpms will increase if the leak is nearby
