how hard is it to hit 10s

Re: how hard is it to hit 10s
Well, I am still wanting to be able to put a couple thousand on it a year, that's why I am looking at a locker rear end, so that it is a little more friendly taking turns and such, but can lock up for the track, but yet again, money is a big factor with these things. And yeah, alot also depends on what a person considers "streetable". I would like to maintain a stock interior, but maybe lose the power seats for some regulars, and yeah, lose the spare, etc.

I'd like to see a 10 sec timeslip this year - with 7# boost and a better 60' then last year. Put the car on a diet and have fixed a couple of restrictive issues - will it make it? Not sure, even if it doesn't i'll have fun with it. I'm thinking if I can hit the 460rwhp mark and cut a mid 1.5 60' i'll see the 10's - late in the year i'd say - with better weather.
Then I call Lloyd and have the heads done - as long as the stock bottom end holds up with another year of boost

Yeah I plan on attending that - Bryan Herter is having a dyno day on the 29th and the next day a bunch of us are rolling out to QCR for the rental. Should be a fun time - we went last year and had a blast meeting a lot of you guys!

Lloyd explained it very well. 10's didn't happen overnite. It took a bit of tuning(engine and car) and using the right parts. For example, 1/2 a second came off from just the converter.(4000+ stall)
