My car never overheated, the temp stayed below half on the gauge the whole time. I am gonna pull the heads off myself on friday This guy I know is gonna resurface both heads at his shop for $160.

With a decking machine lol.

If you have seen a bridgeport vertical mill, then think of somthing similar. Ours is a Van Norman, it has 14" of sweep and 4.5' travel, the head mounts to a plate and is leveled to "0" then the head is brought down and the table moves under the head while the CBN(for iron) or PCD(Aluminum) puck rotates at speed (96-1800rpm) and removes material with each pass.
