becareful because all 97 camaros came with the 30th etching in the leather seats. if its not white w/ orange strips its not a true 30th. and even then make sure the owner didnt repaint it and switch things around to make it look like a real 30th. make sure you have all certificates. and 9 grand is too high, along w/ 7,500. i would go no higher than 5,500. I bought my 97 z-28 with 53,000 t-tops, all options, etc....for 8,000 out the door 2 years ago. there are plenty of cars in the for sale section on this board that would be a better deal, and less miles. even though the lt-1 is a reliable motor, i would opt for one with less milage.

The mileage itself isnt whats most impressive - its the abuse that the engine has lived through that amazes me. The typical day for a taxi includes LOTS of idling, jackrabbit starts, stop and go traffic for 15-20 hrs/day (Rotating driver shifts). They go through lots of suspension overhauls, brake jobs and tranny work, but I dont seem to recall any instances of motor rebuilds. Oil changes happen ever 2k in my dad's fleet.

like said above if it isnt white with orange stripes and some sort of white interior, i.e. white leather or white houndstooth, its not a 30th, and i will agree thats wayyy too much, its not worth much more than 6500.
