How much pressure should gauge read at fuel rail?

How much pressure should gauge read at fuel rail?

I am reading 38 at rail with the key on and 50 when it tries to start.

With the key on pressure should be 38-42psi. After started, it should drop 3-10 psi. If the pressure does not drop, apply 12-14 inches of vaccum to the regulator. If the pressure drops there is a problem with the vaccum line to the regulator. If it does not drop, the regulator is bad.
