Is This How The PCV Should Be Routed?

I have noticed quite a few guys are routing the PCV right back into the intake and I can't remember if mine was like this or not. Heres how I have seen it routed...

&

Is this how it should be done, or was it different stock? If this is different than the stock routing what are the advantages?

That is correct. Then the fresh air tube goes from the P. side vavle cover to the Trottle Body.

The U-shaped hose is correct for pre 1995. 1995 and later use a hose from the valve to a port located on the front of the intake, below the throttle body.

Ok I thought mine went to the front of the intake. Can I put mine on like this and plug the hole in the front of the intake? the only reason I want to do it like this is its just cleaner.

Thanks

Ok can I do it like this since my EGR will no longer bo there.

Take the line that goes to the EGR and route it to the opti and then get a barbed end at the hardware store and route the PCV into the hole that the opti was orginally at?

Heres a pic from shoebox to give a better idea
