How to pull the LT1 with the wiring harness!

Hey guys. I need to extract the LT1 and the T56 out of my '94 car (totaled) and put it in the '88. What all do I need to pull of the '94, to make the car work in the '88. Will teh harness bolt upto the '88 car or what? Can I reprogramm the computer for no airbags, etc, etc. Thanks guys!

ur in for a long road ahead of you.... we swapped a 97 lt1 and 4l60e into my buddies 87 camaro last summer.. and let me tell you it was no fun.. the only plus is there is plenty of room in the engine bay... i know theres a few sites online which tell you exactly what you need and how to do it...ill look for them..

but u need to have a wiring harness made and get the computer reprogrammed....need to make some custom engine mounts and the exhuast is a bit tricky...
