HP rating on a B4C

i was wondering what the horsepower rating on a 94 b4c is. I have heard its 325, but i don't believe it.

Also, what are the differences between a Z-28 and a B4c

Not much difference at all for LT1 years - other than there's no Z28 badge. The horsepower ratings match those of a Z28 for the same year and they lack cruise control!! If you're talking about LS1 cars i'm not really sure - i woudl have to assume they still run Z28 numbers and not SS numbers since they lack the SS exhaust and ram air.

Fun thing with a B4C is it looks like a V6 (no Z28 badging) if you get exhaust that doesn't stick way out the back and you can have lots of fun killing ricers who are none the wiser

It's 275 for a '94. Indieaz is correct with his explanation.

Some B4C's do have cruise, mine does. They are exactly the same as the Z's except they look like 6 cylinders. Basically they have all the performance options that the Z's came with but at a cheaper price. GM puts all the performance goodies in the B4C RPO then gave police agencies a discount on them. This is the same for the LS1's as well. There are some other things like bigger alternator and such.

The B4C is the same as a Z28. My B4C has 275hp, but the funny thing is i have three camaro's and out of the three the B4C seems faster (stock). On a side note, i like the fact that a B4C is in a v6 body.

Question

hmm, i've heard different, but you guys sound like you know what your talking about...i remeber a while back, 1/2 year+, there was a thread about this and we had come to a different conclusion. I am aware of how the B4C is equipped as a Z28 to start, but it also opens up a Special Vehicles Options list that is full of other stuff, i'm not sure if any of its performance, wondering if you guys know anything about this? example my car had some left over police crap in it when i got it, like a siren and what not...but i thought B4C's had different ECU programming. For some reason i thought they ran richer. It seems for some reason they run healthier on average than Z28's...mine for example has over 130,000 miles on it...30 of which i put on, and have been purely beatin' the livin' hell out of it...i've only ran her once at our local track which is a good 45min away. I ran a 14.1 @ 100mph on i think 195/60 series studded snow tires, mid-day, not super hot but decent temps. Stock. my 60ft was stupid because of my tires, now that i got good tires i'm expecting high 13's on a stock vehicle with high miles thats had a hard life...pretty good i think, mayby they arn't different, just sorta odd they all tend to run a lil' healthier...just my 2cents...

oh, one other thing, that 325hp number came off of t.v. they interviewed a cop who was in chase with a 190E mercedes, in a 94B4C, he wrecked...anyways, he claimed it produced 325hp at the flywheel...maybe I can find it on Kazaa again...i'll post it if i do...

BMW E30 M3 VS B4C Camaro
-Beemer is driven by 15yr. old disturbed youth. I-70 Westbound, Going excess of 125mph. At one point was going 150 :

By a state trooper -
-The B4C has a diffecernt chip in it, unavailable to the public
-LT1 V8, the Vette version (I'm assuming with 4 bolt mains ?), has 350, yes thats NOT a typo 350 horses ... At that point I figured he meant it was 350 cubes ...
