Hub and Crank Pulley help!!

I just instlalled a new hub from Thunder Racing. I noticed that it doesnt have any threads inside the hub for the hub bolt theat goes thru the center. The hub also has a little circular pin sticking out of the front of the hub at 12 o clock. It seems like that will hit my crank pulley when I install it. Anyone run into this before?

Remove the pin or cut it off.
Why should you have a thread inside the hub to fasten the hub to the crank???

There are not supposed to be any threads in the center hole.

I pulled the roll pin. Quite an improvement over the stock piece. Very good key engagement during installation. B
