HUGE 383 problems!! Please help.

Very possible. Even that little bit of running while it was in a bind would have been enough to kill the pump (too much pressure in the wrong direction).

I had the same problems after my cam and TC install. I didnt have the noise you describe but my car didnt move much either. I drove it around the block and it didnt come out of second gear. Problem was solved by adding more fluid to the tranny. I thought I had enough but didnt. When you do TC changes that happens. Check the fluid again. Hope you fix it.

what about overfilling it? would it have that effect? would it be safe to drive it to a tranny place?

i turned on the car today and i noticed the fuel pressure was a 80 psi. i tried adjusting the afpr and didnt want to go down. i dont smell any gas. pcm4less did my programming. is that too rich? could it be that?
