I am tired of this CRAP!! vids inside
Ok so my car is the weirdest I have ever seen! It acts like this alot Im thinking theres a short or maby its computer related.
Runs fine as long as its cold. The vid is nearly 2 mins long of the same thing.

This it with the key on the whole time, listen to the fuel pump start piriming and keep priming. When it does this the injectors goes crazy and the tach goes insane as well.

I had something like this happen to me when i put my new 383 in. It ended up being that the fuel pressure was 76psi when the key to on.....Check it out, give us a fuel pressure reading. When its on, and when it starts to bog out. Perhaps fuel pump? injectors? Did you have the car tuned? Sounds like a fuel issue though. Not sure why is would run good in open loop and go crazy in closed loop. Datamaster would help also to see what that code is cus your ses light is on, do you have datamaster and the obd1 cable?

looks like you have a nasty short.
wtf are you using those ****ty quick clips on your harness?
I would start there using better clips or solder and shrink tubing.

All right so I come home tonight clear the codes, 36, 16, 42, and a mass air code. The mass air is my prob I unpluged it thinking it might be bad anyhow, cleared them all and start it up and it didnt even wait for the engine to warm b4 going crazy. As soon as I started backing up to put it in the garage, it started. I barely got it to the garage.
So it set 16 codes back instantly, but didnt turn the light on. So I also picked up a buddys computer tuned for 30's and a big cam, so it was similar to my set up fired it up and there was no change.
Think its the opti? Man I bet Ive went through 3 optis in 15k miles. The last one I replaced I just changed the back part of the opti (optical sensor), but the whole opti was changed the time before that.
The fuel pump was running constantly with the engine off key on.
Any ideas?

did you replace the MAF? while the engine is cold it cant use the o2 sensors and is in open loop mode or speed density mode (i think...i've been told this). once it reaches a certain temp it starts using all the other sensors. it could be that the maf is bad and it's not registering until normal temps.

Its setting 16 just as fast as I can clear it. Think the Digital 6 is eating these things? Ive replaced optis till im tired of replacing them. There not getting wet or oil on them. Thank god for advance and there warrentys. I think im gonna buy a MSD from them. Think that will keep me from replacing these things every other oil change??

I took the battery to work today slow charged it all day came home slapped her in fired it up it set 16, then started going crazy after about 30 sec. Where do I need to "poke my volt meter"?

I would start with the battery. With the car running it should read around 14.5v. See if the voltage drops when it acts up. Check the altenator power wire (on the back of the alt) and see if it does the same.

make sure the car is actually charging the battery. The battery should read 12V when the car is off, no less then 9V when cranking and no less then 13V and no more then 15V when the car is running.
