After last year's run of 14.0@102mph 2.2 60' on my 17's w/ street tires
I go out tonight with stock 16's and BFG drag radials...(no spray tonight)
I just couldnt break 98 mph Trap speeds!!!

1st Run

1/8: 9.4
MPH: 77.01
1/4: 14.476
MPH: 98.38

2nd Run...power shifted the hell out of it 1st-4th

1/8: 9.1
MPH: 77.42

MPH: 98.42

3rd Run me and a fox body both red lighted this run he ran 14.0@96mph

So yea...anyone wanna bracket race??? I cant tell if the clutch is slipping up top, or im just breaking up...above 5grand the thing just doesnt wanna pull..any other time i run the car i'll trap over 100mph spinning like crazy off the line...now i got better traction and my car just goes to ****, im actually suprised clutch held launching at 2500 every run...So anyone wanna buy a tired 14 second LT1?
Next on the list....
1. Plugs
2. Fuel pump /fuel filter
3. clutch
4. SPARY THE CRAP OUT OF IT!

She says she is tired and needs a tune up. If the clutch was slipping up top, the RPMS would like TAKE OFF to the limiter while the car didnt accelerate. Put it in 5th or 6th gear, with the rpms low ( Like 1500ish) and floor it. This puts stress on the clutch. If the engine RPM goes up and the speedo doesnt, your clutch sucks.

I think your problem is somewhere else though. Maybe you are getting knock retard or something? Change the plugs and wires first though. How many miles? Fuel Filter too. Check your Fuel Pressure and stuff.

I bet after some plugs and wires it will run better. Did you have the plates open on the Borla?
