i guess if it were me and you wanted to impress any car guy, i'd go with trickflows and probably have whoever you want to port them. to me, it sounds cooler to have aftermarket heads on there than ported stock heads. besides, the name TRICKFLOW jsut sounds cool, lol. FWIW, i'll be using lloyd. small business man, i'm a small business man and feel i can trust him. haven't talked to AI so don't take that as me saying i don't trust them, just emailed lloyd and like the guy as a person. no matter what way you go with, make sure you get pics!

We are all small businesses.

If you have a budget, why not stick to it?

Why would you not want to spend the extra to get consistant ports, which can only be had with CNC work?

The price difference will be made up in the fact that you will have a consistant port among the 8, MPH will be higher (indicator of HP) and you will be more impressive to those people you speak to.

i'm looking at it like this...i'm talking to a guy at a car show. he asks me what i've done to the motor. i tell him blah blah blah ported trickflow heads...blah blah blah. you honestly think he's going to ask me if they were hand ported or CNC ported? and maybe he will ask me, but do you think he's going to respect me less if i say hand ported? as i said before, i don't feel it is necessary for MY build to spend more money on CNC porting since track times are not a concern of mine

LOL
Then why have the TFS's ported if you just want to say you have TFS heads?
Will the follow up question be how much does it dyno or what does it run?

Be nice to throw out a number that is "20 RWHP" more than the other or a trap speed that shows real power.

he already claimed on the first page that he's already way over is budget, at least that's how i took it since the grammer wasn't the best, lol. i'm not trying to pick a fight. the guy said he wants to go fast but not set records, isn't it true that both will make him fast? the whole point of all of this, seeing as several people have different opinions, is that you will have fantastic results with either company. as stated before, lloyd will get my business because he's cheaper, a great guy, and i trust him, and so do many other people. ron sounds like a great guy too, i just haven't personally talked to him. that's all i'm saying. sorry if i upset you shon, i'll still do business with you cause i trust you as well

i recommend both for avg builds, in an all out setup though, id lean towards AI and i did. it cost a bit more though. either will make great combos, especially if you aren't looking for every last hp, cant go wrong with either.

The pictures do not even do them justice. I have had both and while I haven't fired my AI package yet, there IS a difference in the quality of the work. I've seen it first hand.
